This is Spruces Campground in Wasatch National Forest, east of Salt Lake City. Mountains, wilderness, pine and aspen trees, elevation 7500 feet. There are numerous hiking and mountain biking trails in the immediate area and interpretive walks and fishing in the Big Cottonwood Creek.

Strawberry Reservoir Campground

Strawberry Reservoir is located 23 miles southeast of Heber City, Utah on US Highway 40.
Strawberry Valley provides a variety of fishing opportunities from catch and release fishing on reservoir tributaries to trophy cutthroat and rainbow trout fishing on the reservoir. The reservoir is open to fishing yearlong, and there are a variety of seasonal fishing opportunities as well. Most of the fishing pressure and catch occurs from boats. Shoreline fishing is best during the cooler seasons of spring and fall. January and February provide the best ice fishing success. Strawberry has also become a popular float tube destination.

Granite Flat Campground is located in aspen, douglas fir, spruce and pine trees and is close to Lone Peak Wilderness. Tibble Fork and Silver Flat Reservoirs are close and offer good fishing.
Popular activities include hiking, fishing, visiting Timpanogos Cave and viewing wildlife.

Tinney Flat Campground

Tinney Flat Campground is located in Santaquin Canyon and sits just off of the Nebo Loop National Scenic Byway. The Santaquin Canyon road is paved, but very steep and narrow. The campground is located at 7,000 feet elevation. There are hiking, fishing and wildlife viewing opportunities.

Located in south central Utah, 50 miles southeast of the town of Richfield. Elevation is 9,000 feet. Be prepared for inclement weather. Fish Lake is within a short walking distance of the campground.

Watchman Campground
One of two campgrounds located in the Main Canyon area of Zion National Park. It is an ideal location from which to base your stay in Zion. The campground is a short walk from the park's main Visitor Center. It is adjacent to the river for cooling off in the summer heat. It is also just a five minute walk to three of the park's hiking trails, including the park's only bicycle trail and only park trail on which leashed pets are allowed.

Important Information: Vehicles 7'10" in width or 11'4" in height or larger are required to have an escort through the Zion Mt. Carmel Tunnel located between the East Entrance and Zion Canyon. Escort permits are available at the park entrances for a fee of $15.00. During summer months, escorts are available from 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p,m. During winter months, escorts are available by appointment only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Single or combined vehicles (i.e. a motor home with a tow car attached or a vehicle towing a trailer, 5th wheel, or boat) over 50 feet long are prohibited from travelling through the park between the East Entrance and the campground. If your total length is greater than 50 feet, you must use an alternate route to arrive at Watchman Campground from U.S. 89.
Entrance into park is $25 per private vehicle for seven days.
Gathering of firewood is prohibited.
Pets are allowed but must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after.
